THE DISTINGUISHED KUTBAS OF KISWAH

In my latest post I am sharing the valuable information about the Ghilafe Kaaba shared by the courtesy of our family friend Makhdoom Jawad Abbasi

KISWAH is draped annually on the 9th of the month of Dhul-Hijjah

These distinguished KUTBAS are made from the pieces of Ghilafe Kaaba, a gift from the Macca Muazama.

The KISWAH cloth is woven on world's largest sewing machine, and is adorn with Quranic verses with gold and silver threads.

These calligraphy is of the Thuluth style, and the custom of incorporating woven into religious inscription dates back to 14th century.

The elegant structure of Kaaba is a place of peace and security for us.

My description of the word KISWAH:

S- Strength

W-Welfare

A- Adore

H-Humanity
