Dear friends in my latest post I am viewing the life of Frederick Douglass. He was born in slavery to a black mother Harriet Bailey and a white father. He achieved independence in 1838, and fought tirelessly for equality and freedom. Frederick Douglass emerged as an American reformer and a national leader.

The blog also includes my free expression on the beautiful surrounding of Maryland.
