Me and My Grandchildren

Me and My Grandchildren:

For me the COVID 19 lockdown days are special as it provides me an opportun I and my grandchildren, Mohammad, Sakina, and Mustafa have spent memorable time together sharing ideas, discussing events, and going for a walk. Each day we allotted time for Creative Thinking, to encourage problem solving, experimenting and experiencing open ended learning. We named this activity as CREATIVE PLAY.

Today’s activity was preparing a picture from the given mosaic within the allotted time. Writing caption to explain the picture was also required.

Mohammad fourteen years old titled his picture as “Mixed Emotions.”

Sakina eleven years old captioned it “At the Concert.”

Mustafa seven years old explained it as “The Street Scene”.

Through the simple mosaic work activity I learnt about my children’s creative ideas colour combination and color preference. Their thoughts, feelings, imagination and maturity level is also expressed through the pictures. It was a fun activity I loved each ones creativity and the originality of their work.
