INTRODUCING VALUES

Religion and Anthology:

I planned Islamiat session for my grandchildren by inculcating geography, and history subjects. It is an hour program and it is divided into four sessions;

· The first session is in connection of Tauheed, it includes the recitation of the holy Quran, and the information on the related Surahs.

· The second session deals with the life history of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his family members. With the help of the world atlas the geographical features of the Arab peninsula, the distance from Mecca to Medina, the hills of Saffah and Marwa were explained.

· The third session includes the book discussion on “Who Believes What”? and sharing ideas about the world’s major religions.

· In the concluding session Quranic stories of Nabiullah (AS) are emphasized and Islamic stories such as Kids Islamic Stories, Prophet Stories, Islamic kids’ videos are shown through You Tube.

Through this teaching approach, learning of Islamiat is made interesting and motivating for my children.
