INSIGHT into the WORLD of Sadequain

“SADEQUAIN and the Culture of Enlightenment.” The book has facilitated me to understand the work of the great artist.

The book gives a brief history of Muslim’s contribution to the culture of ancient India and highlighted Sadequain's contribution in art. Through art, the culture of tolerance, peace and respect was created and it served as a link between people regardless of their religion, culture and language.

Sadequain's art is original and innovative. His script is either black or white against a black background and adds other colors natural to his personality.

Sadequain was a lover of beauty and truth, which he expressed in light and colors.

Sadequain’s art is a combination of drawing, painting, calligraphy, and Rubaees. He was his own tutor, he learnt art by himself and developed his unique, wonderful provocative style.
