Hello Friends, in my latest post I am highlighting the happenings and the celebrations of the specific days of September. It’s a very special month of the year it marks end of summer, cooler weather and shorter days and is full of different events:
International Day of Peace
International Day to Protect Education from Attack
International Day for Preservation of Ozone layer.
The post also comprises of the artistic expression of Ms. Zeba Abbas and an interview with Ms. Aisha Karim who is heading (Middle Section) NJV Government Higher Secondary School. September marks the end of summers in Northern hemisphere and it is beginning of spring in Southern hemisphere and consequently the surroundings in the month of September in both the hemisphere look attractive, colorful, vibrant and interesting.

INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE PRESERVATION OF OZONE LAYER 16 September:

OZONE FOR LIFE:
Ozone layers protect earth against harmful UV rays and ensure a sustainable future. Increased UV can also lead to reduced crop harvest and disruption in the marine food chain.

SMALL ACTIONS LEAD TO BIGGER CHANGES:
“The Montreal Protocol has succeeded in safeguarding the ozone layer. The ozone layer is expected to recover by around 2066 over the Antarctic, by 2045 over the Arctic and by 2040 over the rest of the world.”

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE is observed around the world on 21 September, since 1981.







INTERNATIONAL DAY to Protect Education from Attack is observed on 9th September.
It is an international observance established by United Nations General Assembly in 2020.

Captivating the cue from the father the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, “with faith, discipline, selfless and devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve”. Pleased to share the information about NJV Govt Secondary School, the oldest public school in Sindh named after the prominent educationist Narayan Jagannath Vaidya. The school was adopted by Akhuwat foundation in 2015 and has regained its history, of nurturing young minds and enhancing their potential.
